Stored dry and cool, e.g. in the vegetable compartment of the refrigerator or in a cool room (approx. 6-7 degrees), the fruits keep well.

The Fuerte avocado is another variety of avocado that is known worldwide. It is slightly larger than the Hass avocado and has a smooth, thin, green peel that can often turn slightly brown as it ripens. Compared to the Hass avocado, the Fuerte avocado has an elongated, pear-shaped shape.

The flesh of the Fuerte avocado is light green to yellow-green in color and has a creamy consistency. Fuerte avocados are less prone to browning when cut, meaning the flesh retains its green color for longer.
